The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 1 is hosting a series of Water and Wastewater Agency Response Network (WARN) workshops in the New England states. The workshop and tabletop exercise will bring together local drinking water and wastewater service providers (public and private) with state and federal drinking water, wastewater, and emergency management agency representatives to discuss the WARN program and its benefits, as well as how the emergency management sector is involved in and can assist the WARNs. This seminar is applicable to those who are already members of their state’s WARN and to those who are thinking about joining. The half-day seminar will include a short tabletop exercise to demonstrate/determine how the WARN would work in the event of an actual emergency and how one utility would request assistance from another.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs): Those who complete the workshop will be awarded training contact hours (TCHs) in some states. *NOTE: State approval of credit hours is pending at this time.
