In partnership with the Town of North Kingstown (the Town), the Horsley Witten Group, Inc. (HW) and a team of sub-consultants, including Inter-Fluve, Inc. are developing a watershed management plan to improve surface and ground water quality in the Sandhill Brook and Sawmill Pond area using a comprehensive and inclusive watershed planning approach. The outcome of this work will be a comprehensive watershed management plan that will guide the Town in implementing restoration projects and fostering long term watershed stewardship in the years to come.
Two interim reports contain the findings from both a stream corridor and upland assessment and following public input and comment will be used to inform overall watershed management recommendations.
