Watershed Planning & Assessment
HW integrates our engineering expertise and scientific understanding to develop watershed plans and restoration strategies that consider a community’s water budget, infrastructure capacity, and master plans for future growth. An important piece of the many of these watershed plans is the implementation of stormwater management improvements, such as bioretention facilities, constructed wetlands, sand filter applications and various retrofit designs for existing outdated infrastructure. Another important piece of effective watershed planning is community engagement, translating technical issues relative to watershed restoration to the community, key stakeholders, and decision makers.
