HW manages site assessment and remediation projects with the most cost-effective strategies and technologies, focusing on development of site-specific objectives with each client to assure successful projects. Our staff provide expert waste site remediation opinions for regulatory and multiple responsible party negotiation support services, as well as effective remedial solutions, utilizing on-site and in-site remedial approaches.
Our experience includes preliminary and comprehensive site assessments, subsurface investigations and data collection through the installation of soil borings, groundwater monitoring wells, test pits, soil-gas vapor probes, etc. We have completed the design and implementation of soil and groundwater treatment systems, air sparging/ biosparging and soil vapor extraction/ bioventing systems, passive venting systems, chemical oxidation injections and other methods of contaminant remediation. We have also developed several Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plans, Emergency Response Plans, Health and Safety Plans, Vessel Response Plans, MSDS compliance and training, and associated training for emergency response planning and performance.
