Community Resiliency
In response to world events, such as 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, HW expanded its emergency management services capabilities to meet client and market demands for emergency planning, preparedness, training, and response assistance. HW assists clients such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Montana Department of Environmental Quality, Rhode Island Department of Health, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, and municipalities and water utilities nationwide, to meet the challenges of providing critical public services, such as safe drinking water and wastewater treatment, under conditions of extreme duress.
